I Love Taipei (The Last Hurrah)

My time in Taipei has reached a bittersweet end so this will be my last post on food/restaurant in Taipei. I spent the last few days eating some of my favorite foods:

Should definitely prepare yourself for the loooooong line.

Fresh Mango Ice (90NT)

Get your fortune told! Each table has one of these fortune dispensers. One fortune costs 10NT.

Hands down, my favorite ice shop. The “雪片/xue3 pian4/snowflake” is one of the many types of ice offered in Taiwan. The machine slices the ice into thin shavings. The thin slices make the ice fluffy and it feels less abrasive when you eat it. The ice itself  has some mango flavor infused in, topped off with some fresh mango pieces and condensed milk.

One downside I see is there are less mangos this year! Fix that!!
